3. The September 15, 2009, Council meeting was adjourned to this time and date to provide
an opportunity for the City Council to consider adjourning into executive session for the
purposes of:
(1) meeting with the City Attorney regarding legal issues, litigation and potential
litigation, as permitted under Section 2-31(a)(2) of the City Code
(2) considering and discussing strategy matters relating to negotiations with
employee groups, including unions, as permitted under Section 2-31(a)(1)(d) of
the City Code.
