1. Call Meeting to Order.
2. Joint City Council/Downtown Development Authority Work Session (30 minutes)
City Council will meet with the Board of the Downtown Development Authority to review
activities of the Authority during the past 12 months including an update on the Beet Street
Cultural program,to discuss changing the Authority's bond ceiling,and to consider pursuing
a change in State legislation with regard to the length of tax increment districts.
URBAN RENEWAL AUTHORITY WORK SESSION
3. Report and Recommendations from the Ad Hoc Committee Regarding Implementation of the
Urban Renewal Authority. (1 hour)
This discussion is to consider the following questions:
1. Does the Commission have comments or questions on the Final Report?
2. Is the Commission comfortable with the recommendations contained in the Final
Report?
3. Is the Commission comfortable with the implementation strategy?
4. Annexation of the Southwest Enclave Area. (1 hour)
This discussion is to answer the following questions:
1. Does Council support the proposed mitigation measures described within this
summary?
2. Does Council support the recommended approach of implementing the annexation
in phases?
5. Discussion of the draft Fort Collins-Loveland Municipal Airport Master Plan Update
(45 minutes)
This purpose of this discussion is to determine if there are any additional questions to be
answered for Council before the final consideration of the draft Airport Master Plan on July
18, 2006.
