Second Reading of Ordinance No. 13, 1999, Authorizing the Grant of a Non-Exclusive Utility
Easement on the Ute-Snowy Ridge Property to the South Fort Collins Sanitation District.
RECOMMENDATION:
Staff recommends adoption of the Ordinance on Second Reading.
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
Ordinance No. 13, 1999, which was unanimously adopted on First Reading on January 19, 1999,
authorizes the grant of a non-exclusive utility easement on the Ute-Snowy Ridge Property.

Easement on the Ute-Snowy Ridge Property to the South Fort Collins Sanitation District.

FINANCIAL IMPACT:
The negotiated fee for conveying the non-exclusive permanent utility easement is $600, which
reflects the minimal fair market value of the easements,plus administrative costs of processing the
easement. The City's share of this amount will be$200-�W 1 bf paid to the Natural Areas Fund.
All costs associated with the c'onstructio of th se i er me., storation of the Property will be
paid for by the developer of the Shenan `o�ah P.U.D
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
The land affected by this sewerline is owned by Larimer County,the City of Loveland and the City
of Fort Collins. The City of Fort Collins' share is 33.34%. In connection with the construction of
the Shenandoah P.U.D., the develo er has determined that a-mon-exclusive utility easement
approximately 1700 square feet in area 11 be6, quire an 63de . o permit the South Fort Collins
Sanitation District sewer line necessary for the cev opment to ass through the Ute-Snowy Ridge
Property at its far northeast coiner' •"
Staff has reviewed this request and has no objection to the conveyance of this easement.
