PROCLAMATION
WHEREAS, Memorial Day, May 30, 2005, has been designated as Bone Marrow Register
Day in the city of Fort Collins; and
WHEREAS, Houska Automotive will once again host the Houska Houska 5k, a community
event created to build awareness of bone marrow donations in Fort Collins; and
WHEREAS, the Houska Houska 5k will offer the chance for those attending to register for
the Bone Marrow Program; and
WHEREAS, the Houska Houska 5k will donate 100 percent of all funds raised on May 30
to the Bone Marrow Program at the Poudre Valley Hospital in Fort Collins.
NOW, THEREFORE, I, Doug Hutchinson, Mayor of the City of Fort Collins, do hereby
proclaim Monday, May 30 as
BONE MARROW REGISTER DAY
in the city of Fort Collins and ask the community to recognize the Houska Houska5k for its
outstanding contribution to the Fort Collins community.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and the seal of the City of Fort
