RECOMMENDATION Staff recommends adoption of the Resolution,after selecting an applicant for fill the vacancy on the Planning and Zoning Board. EXECUTIVE SUMMARY A vacancy currently exists on the Planning and Zoning Board due to the expiration of Jerry Gavaldon's term. Councilmembers Weitkunat and Roy conducted interviews but did not agree on a recommendation for the Planning and Zoning Board. The Council interview team wishes to submit two names (John Hatfield and William Stockover) for Council's consideration for that position. Applications are attached for the two applicants being considered. RESOLUTION 2004-154 OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS MAKING AN APPOINTMENT TO THE PLANNING AND ZONING BOARD WHEREAS, a vacancy currently exists on the Planning and Zoning Board of the City due to the expiration of Jerry Gavaldon's term; and WHEREAS, the City Council desires to fill the vacancy which exists on the Planning and Zoning Board. NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS as follows that the following named person be, and hereby is, appointed as a member of the Planning and Zoning Board hereinafter indicated,with a term to begin immediately and to expire as set forth after the name: Planning and Zoning Board Expiration of Term December 31, 2008 Passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council held this 21st day of December, A.D. 2004.
