STUDY SESSION AGENDA
September 14, 2004 6:00 p.m.
1. Call Meeting to Order.
2. Update from the Human Relations Commission (HRCI. (6:00 p.m. -7:00 p.m. - 15 minute staff
presentation)
The HRC has completed the items set forth Resolution 2004-037 and is now prepared to provide
updates and seek feedback from City Council.
3. Redevelopment Policies, Strategies and Future Directions. (7:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. - 20 minute
staff presentation)
This Study Session item is in response to the following project contained in the City Manager's
2003-05 Work Plan: "Redevelopment Study Session—Hold a Council Study Session to discuss
redevelopment policies and strategies." Staff welcomes a discussion by the Council on the City's
role in supporting redevelopment in targeted areas.
4. Building on Basics 2005 Citizen Feedback and Project Update. (8:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. - 15
minute staff presentation)
This study session is both an update to Council regarding staff's progress on the project and an
opportunity to narrow and focus the scope of the process as the April election grows closer.
