STUDY SESSION AGENDA
August 24, 2004 6:00 p.m.
1. Call Meeting to Order.
2. Discussion and review of the City Manager position profile development. (1 hour- 15 minute
presentation)
Bob Slavin of Slavin Management Consultants will present a draft position profile for the City
Manager's position.
3. Halligan Project Semi-Annual Report. (45 minutes - 10 minute staff presentation)
The purpose of this Study Session item is to provide Council with a brief update on the progress
being made on the Halligan Reservoir Enlargement Project and provide an opportunity to
comment or ask questions related to the project.
4. Discussion of the final report of the Compensation and Benefits Study performed by Gallagher
Benefit Services.Inc.and the Ad Hoc Council Compensation and Benefits Committee (1 hour-
15 minute staff presentation)
Presentation of staff's recommendations on the final benefit options for 2005.
5. Other Business.
