Fischbach SUBJECT Resolution 2004-029 Amending Resolution 2004-016 Appointing the Members of an Economic Vitality and Sustainability Action Group. RECOMMENDATION Staff recommends adoption of the Resolution. EXECUTIVE SUMMARY On February 3, 2004 the City Council approved a list of individuals to serve as member of the Economic Vitality and Sustainability Action Group (the Task Force). Following the appointments, Tom Gleason, regretfully has to withdraw from the Task Force. To fill this vacancy, Councilmembers Marty Tharp and Karen Weitkunat are submitting the name of Pat Brady to replace Tom Gleason. Mr. Brady serves as the President of 1st Bank in Fort Collins and is also a member of the Fort Collins Housing Authority Board. RESOLUTION 2004-029 OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS AMENDING RESOLUTION 2004-016 APPOINTING THE MEMBERS OF AN ECONOMIC VITALITY AND SUSTAINABILITY ACTION GROUP WHEREAS,on February 3,2004,the City Council adopted Resolution 2004-016 appointing the members of an economic vitality and sustainability action group ("EVSAG"); and WHEREAS, one of the appointed members of the EVSAG, Tom Gleason, will be unavailable to serve on the EVSAG because of other commitments; and WHEREAS,to fill this vacancy, Councilmembers Tharp and Weitkanut are submitting for Council's consideration the name of Pat Brady; and WHEREAS, the Council believes that Mr. Brady, as the President of First Bank in Fort Collins and a member of the Fort Collins Housing Authority Board,would be well qualified to serve on the EVSAG. NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS as follows: Section 1. That Section I of Resolution 2004-016 is hereby amended by substituting the name of Pat Brady for the name of Tom Gleason. Section 2. That except as amended by Section 1 above, the provisions of Resolution 2004-016 shall remain in full force and effect.
