STUDY SESSION AGENDA
June 11, 2002 **4:00 p.m.**
1. Call Meeting to Order.
2. Update from the Council's Transportation Committee Regarding Funding for the City's Long-
Range Transportation Capital Needs. (4:00 p.m. - 4:45 p.m.)
Staff is requesting Council's feedback and direction on the Transportation Funding Committee's
recommended strategy for dedicating new sources to fund transportation capital.
3. Street Oversizing Program. (4:45 p.m. - 5:30 p.m.)
Staff has been considering two revisions to the Street Oversizing Program.The first is the normal
update required to recover costs and keep the program current. The second type of revision is
a proposed redistribution of costs for bridges and box culverts that would spread the
responsibility for these expensive structures and make the construction more timely.
