City of Fort Collins Compensation and Benefits• Philosophy and Practice (30 minutes) The presentation is intended to provide Councilmembers with an overview of how staff aligns the compensation and benefit programs to the competitive market. 3. RTA Briefing Outline—Ouestions and Issues (30 minutes) The MPO is working on the question of the formation of a Rural Transportation Authority. A subcommittee has been formed that includes Councilmember Kastein to sort out issues and raise questions. Kurt and City staff will take this opportunity to brief the City Council on these discussions to date. 4. The Outdoor Pool at City Park (45 minutes) The City operates four public pools: EPIC; Mulberry Pool; the pool at the Senior Center; and the outdoor pool at City Park. Last fall the City hired a pool safety consultant to conduct safety audits of all City pools. The audit found some minor problems at the indoor pools, which were quickly remedied. However, the audit found significant safety problems with the outdoor pool at City Park. The purpose of this item is to discuss with Council, available alternatives to address the safety concerns at the outdoor pool, and the estimated cost and estimated time to complete each alternative. 5.
