Fluoride Technical Study Group Findings• Recommendations of the Fort Collins Water Board Larimer County Board of Health and the Health District of Northern Larimer County. (6:00 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.) The purpose of this meeting is to provide City Council with an opportunity to discuss the findings of the Fluoride Technical Study Group, and the recommendations of the Fort Collins Water Board, Latimer County Board of Health and the Health District of Northern Larimer County, 3. Downtown Strategic Plan—Parking in the Downtown Area (7:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.) Staff is seeking direction about the on-street parking program element of the Downtown Strategic Plan. The objective is to complete a comprehensive parking plan which will be uniquely a Fort Collins'"way" of addressing parking in Downtown. Staff is interested in City Council addressing the following questions: • Have the Downtown on-street parking issues been explained to Council's satisfaction? Is there further clarification needed? • Do Councilmembers have a clear understanding of the nuances of the three on-street parking program alternatives presented and the differences between them? • Do Councilmembers have a preference of one alternative over the others? If not, are there components that Councilmembers feel strongly about, either positively or negatively? What implementation concerns, if any, do Councilmembers have related to the proposed alternatives 4. Discussion Regarding the Compensation and Benefits:Philosophy and Practice (8:30 p.m. -9:30 p.m.) This presentation covers the philosophy and practices behind the City's compensation and benefits programs. Topics discussed will include: (1) compensation philosophy and practice; (2) summary of employee benefits; and (3)health plan changes for 2004-2005, This presentation is intended to provide Councilmembers with an overview of how staff aligns the compensation and benefit programs with the competitive market. 5.
