Discussion Regarding Land Bank Issues. (6:00 p.m. - 6:30 p.m.) Staff is requesting Council's comments and/or questions regarding the following: • Does Council have any comments or questions regarding the economic feasibility of land banking? • Does Council feel comfortable with the administrative costs of land banking being absorbed by the City? • Does Council have questions regarding the implementation of the land banking program and the consultant's recommendations in the report (pages 40 and 41)? • Does Council feel comfortable with finalizing the Land Bank program and adopting a resolution to implement the program? 3. Items Relating to Transportation Funding. (6:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.) A. Review of Options Considered and Directions Provided by Finance Committee and City Council Regarding Transportation Maintenance Funding. Staff is requesting Council feedback regarding possible strategy(ies) City Council may want to pursue to address the existing funding gaps in the City's pavement management program and in other transportation maintenance needs. B. Discussion and Council Direction Regarding Transportation Capital Projects to Be Considered for a Possible Ballot Measure in April 2001. Staff is requesting Council direction and feedback on the following questions: • Is April 2001 the appropriate time to submit a ballot measure to voters asking to support a sales tax increase for a few identified transportation capital projects and related operation and maintenance costs? • If yes, is the proposed list of projects appropriate? • Does Council need any additional information? 4. Other Business. 5. Adjournment.
