SPECIAL ORGANIZATIONAL MEETING AGENDA
April 10, 2001 6:00 p.m.
1. Call Meetina to Order.
2. Roll Call.
3. Oaths of Office -Newly Elected Mayor and Councilmembers.
District 1 Councilmember Bill Bertschy, District 3 Councilmember Eric Hamrick, District 5
Councilmember Marty Tharp,and Mayor Ray Martinez will take their oaths of office at this time.
4. Newly Appointed Councilmembers will be seated.
5. Resolution 2001-48 Expressing Gratitude and Appreciation to Michael F. Byrne for His
Contributions to the Community as a Councilmember.
6. Resolution 2001-49 Expressing_Gratitude and Appreciation to Scott C. Mason for His
Contributions to the Community as a Councilmember.
7. Election of Mayor Pro Tem. (2 year term)
The Charter provides that the Council shall elect a Mayor Pro Tem who shall act as Mayor during
the absence or disability of the Mayor.
8. Other Business.
9. Adiournment.
The Study Session will begin approximately 15 minutes after the
Special Organizational Meeting has concluded
