Second Reading of Ordinance No. 43, 2001, Appropriating Unanticipated Revenue in the
Cultural Services and Facilities Fund for the General Operating Support of the Fort Collins
Museum.
RECOMMENDATION:
Staff recommends adoption of the Ordinance on Second Reading.
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
This Ordinance, which was unanimously adopted on First Reading on March 20, 2001,
appropriates funds into the Museum's IMIS grant project for use over the next two fiscal years.

FINANCIAL IMPACT:
In January of 2000, the Fort Collins Mu bmitte grant application to the federal
Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS) n - operating support (GOS) grant in
the amount of$61,959. On September 19, 2000, the received written notice that it had
been awarded the $61,959 grant. n award lence,judged by peers within the

awarded 177 museums t of 823 applican GOS a amounting to a total of
$15,270,005.
