STUDY SESSION AGENDA
January 27, 2004 6:00 p.m.
1. Call Meeting to Order.
2. Discussion with ASCSU Regarding 3-Unrelated Ordinance. (6:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.)
This item will be separated into two parts: (1) ASCSU representatives presentation and
discussion; and (2) City staff update regarding neighborhood quality of life improvement
strategies.
3. Human Relations Commission. (7:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.)
a. Discussion of the Human Relations Commission on the Comparative Analysis of the City
of Fort Collins Boards and Commission's Diversity and Demographics.
b. Discussion of a Human Rights Protection Ordinance. In keeping with Council's policy
guideline for initiating work on an ordinance or a resolution, staff is seeking Council
direction on the following:
• Does Council believe that either an ordinance or resolution is appropriate to
address citizen concerns and help reinforce current practices?
• If so, what should the ordinance or resolution say?
• If staff is directed to work on an ordinance or resolution, who else should be
involved(e.g., the Human Relations Commission)?
4. Transportation Master Plan 2004. (8:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.)
Discussion and feedback regarding Council questions and input on the Transportation Master
Plan 2004 (TMP) document, process and recommendations.
5. Other Business.
