MINUTES OF A REGULAR MEETING OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS, Held
Thursday; February 13, 1964, at 1:30 o'clock P.M.
Present: Councilmen Johnson, Colwell, McMillan and Councilwoman Quinn. City
Manager Boos, City Attorney March and City Engineer Weiss.
The Mayor called the meeting to order and the question the following resolution
be read:
RESOLUTION
OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS COMMENDING DR. CLYDE E. HONSTEIN FOR HIS SERVI
AS A MEMBER OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
WHEREAS, Dr. Clyde E. Honstein served the City of Fort Collins as a member of
the City Council continuously from the time of his election on April 2, 1957, until his
death on February 11, 1964, and as Mayor protem from April 9, 1963 to April 25, 1963, and
WHEREAS, during his perm of public office the said Dr. Clyde E. Honstein
ed his official duties and promoted the welfare of the City of Fort Collins in a mos
ble, efficient and courteous manner, and
WHEREAS, such services of Dr. Clyde E. Honstein are highly deserving of having
appropriate recognition thereof made.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY TH<E:COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS that

De. Clyde E. Honstein be and he is hereby commended for his valuable services to the City
Collins in his -official capacity as a member of the City Council and as Mayor pro tem
1of the City of Fort Colllns.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this official commendation be spread upon the record:
of the City of Fort Collins and that a certified copy of the same be delivered tot he family
of Dr. Clyde E. Honstein.
Passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the Council of the City of Fort
Collins this 13th day of February, A. D. 1964.

Motion was made by Councilman McMillan, seconded by Councilwoman Quinn, that thi
resolution be adopted. Roll was cslled resulting as follows: Ayes: Councilmen Johnson,
Colwell, McMillan and Councilwoman Quinn. Nayes: None. The President declared the motion
adopted.

The Mayor requested one minute of silence in memory of Dr. Clyde E. Honstein,
The Mayor announced that all matters to come before the City Council at this
date are hereby tabled until Thursday, February 20, 1964.
Motion was made by Councilwoman Quinn, seconded by Councilman McMillan, that the
Council adjourn. Roll was called resulting as follows: Ayes: Councilmen Johnson, Colwell
McMillan and Councilwoman Quinn. Nayes: None. The President declared the motion adopted
and the Council adjourned.
