Records of the City Council,
27th NY of May. 1914 191
Minutes of a regular meeting of the City Council held on the 27th day of
April A. D. 1914 the following proceedings were had and approved.
Present Commissioners Clammer, Armitage and Edwards, City Attorney Frank J. Annis
J. A. C. Kissock and E. H. Hall committee of investigation of the Telephone
Company presented their report.
Motion by Commissioner Armitage that the report be received and placed
on file for future reference, seconded by commissioner Edwards and unanimously
carried.
Motion by Commissioner Edwards that the matter of appointing a City Forester
be.investigated by Commissioner Armitage and City Attorney Annis and if thought
advisable to prepare a proper ordinance and submit same same at furcate meeting of
Council, sa a seconded by commissioner Armitage an unanimously caried.
Commissioner Armitage presented.the following resolution and moved the adoption
of seine. same seconded by commissioner Edwards.
Resolution.
Whereas , Chas Berry of 123 North Washington street is the owner of a tract 140
x 617.8 feet and desires to connect with the sewer in District No. 19 for a
tract 46 x 204 feet, to which district said Berry has paid no special tax or
assessment for the construction thereof being outside said district therefore be
it Resolved by the City Council that permission be granted to said Charles Berry
to connect with the sewer in District No. 199 upon the payment of the assessment
rate charged for a tract 462/3 x 204 feet amounting to $ 45.23 together with the
regular charge for tapping sewers. Roll being called tesulted as follows.
Ayes Commissioner Clammer, Armitage and Edwards. Nays none. The President
declared the resolution adopted.
Commissioner Armitage presented the following Ordinance and moved that said or-
dinance be passed adopted signed and approved as Ahvemergenoy Ordinance.
Ordinance No4. 1914.
RELATING TO AN APPROPRIATION FOR THE PURCHASE OF AN AUTO FIRE TRUCK,
Roll being called resulted as follows. Ayes Commissioner Clammer, Armitage and
Edwards. Nays none, The Presient declared the Ordinance duly and legally
adopted.
Whereupon Council adjourned.
