Presented by: Council Compensation Policy Committee April 18, 2024 Teresa Roche Human Resources Executive Selection of Compensation Committee Chair Discussion Items: • Review of committee’s purpose • Discuss topics for the year and determine the priority, pacing, and timeline for 2024 2Outcomes for Today’s Meeting • Review, discuss, and recommend annual total compensation strategy for the Council's direct reports. • Mid-year evaluation discussion is scheduled in May • Annual evaluation discussion is scheduled in November • Review high-level total compensation policy matters for the City organization, particularly those directly affecting the council's budgetary and financial decisions. • Integration with BFO Cycle and Council Finance Committee • Topics coming to the full Council for review and approval • Specific City initiatives • Review the comparative market as needed and evaluate the compensation paid under the City Charter to members of the Council. 3Purpose of the Committee THANK YOU!
