With weak mental health and confidence one can struggle with depression, eating disorders, anxiety, etc. Having these diagnoses can increase your mortality. Therefore, it is vital that positive self esteem is boosted. Communicating about the issues involving negative physical image and its outcomes will allow our youth to well understand each other & help our overall mental/bodily health. Presented solutions may be using verbal programs or health apps promoting healthy lifestyles. 2)Presently, the youth has been facing an issue directed to growing up too fast. Essentially, with a desire of making adult choices/decisions from watching previous generations, young adolescents have been exposed to mature ideas such as drugs or alcohol too quickly. This is negative because with these adult choices can come life or death situations determined by undeveloped brains. Conveying this issue in this board can result in improving our youth's overall health and lifestyle choices. Presented solutions may include social support systems, nicotine/alcohol awareness discussions, etc. 3)Recently, students have become clueless about their futures. Lack of accessible internships, specific clubs & job shadows causes students to be unaware as to what career path or what education they want to conquer. Schools don't do well when explaining the importance of why students are learning or what it results in. The lack of specificity that schools give students when looking at career options isn't acceptable when considering the fact that job opportunities are rapidly changing through the growth of technology. A solution may be specific academic advice given from a career advisor. Please specify any activities which might create a serious conflict of interest if you should be appointed to this board or commission: I do not have any activities that may create a serious conflict of interest if I should be appointed to this board. Upon application for and acceptance of appointment, board and commission members demonstrate their intention and ability to attend meetings. If appointed, frequent nonattendance may result in termination of the appointment.
