PUBLIC NOTICE
Notice is hereby given that the City Council Ethics Review Board will meet on Tuesday,
July 12, 2016, at 4:00 p.m., in the City Attorney’s Large Conference Room at City Hall, located
at 300 Laporte Avenue, City Hall West, Fort Collins, Colorado. The purpose of the meeting will
be to address the following Councilmember inquiry:
1. A request submitted by Councilmember Campana to consider and provide an
advisory opinion regarding the question of whether under the City Charter board
and commission members, after declaring and disclosing a conflict of interest in a
matter, can participate in that matter on behalf of an interested stakeholder (for
example, as a technical professional providing advice to an applicant), so long as
they do not personally appear before the board to advocate on behalf of another
person. This request also includes consideration of the same question as it relates
to Councilmembers.
The City of Fort Collins will make reasonable accommodations for access to City
services, programs, and activities and will make special communication arrangements for
