1. CALL TO ORDER: 12:27 p.m.
2. ROLL CALL
• Board Members in Attendance: Terry Schlicting, Amanda Morgan, Marilee Boylan,
John Morris, Arianna Kilmer and Ashlynn Freestone
• Board Members Absent – Jan Barela-Smith, Sherri Reichow, and Michael Marr
• Staff Members Present – Carol Thomas, COD Staff Liaison

4. PUBLIC PARTICIPATION – NONE
5. APPROVAL OF MINUTES – NOVEMBER, JANUARY & APRIL MEETINGS
Terry moved to approve all minutes; Amanda seconded; a vote was called, none opposed.
6. PRESENTATIONS - NONE
7. BUSINESS
• COD Officer Elections: After nominations and discussion, the following were
elected -
O CHAIR: Marilee moved to elect Ashlynn Freestone as Chair and John
as co-Chair (in the event that Ashlynn needs assistance as a new
commission member); Arianna seconded; a vote was called, none
opposed.
O VICE CHAIR: Arianna moved to elect Terry as Vice Chair; Amanda
seconded; a vote was called, none opposed.
O RECORDER: After discussion of current COD budget and remaining
expenses, Marilee moved to contract a recorder for regular meetings
through the rest of 2019; Arianna seconded; none opposed. Carol will
provide an update on the COD budget at the next meeting.
• 2019 Work Plan: Members reviewed the draft 2019 Work Plan. Marilee moved
to approve it as is; Arianna seconded; none opposed.

• The Staff Liaison will provide the following updates at the next meeting:
O Harmony & College sidewalk (new construction)
O Harmony & Snow Mesa bus stop
O City Park Pool accessibility improvements
O City efforts towards recruitment and employment of people with
disabilities
