CALL TO ORDER Meeting called to order at 3:35 pm 2. ROLL CALL • Board Members Present – Miriam Chase, Sabrina Davies, Carol Ann Hixon, and Michael Short • Board Members Absent – Gwen Hatchette, Kirsten Savage, and Sara Wade • Staff Members Present – Ellen Martin, Liz Good, Marisa Donegan, Tom Knostman James White • Cultural Resources Board Liaison: None present • Guests – Katie Ricketts 3. AGENDA REVIEW 4. CITIZEN PARTICIPATION 5. APROVAL OF MINUTES – FEBRUARY 19 AND 26, 2020 Ms. Chase moved that we accept the minutes as written Mr. Short seconded Unanimously approved Ms. Chase moved that we accept the February 26 minutes Mr. Short seconded Unanimously approved 6. BUSINESS, PRESENTATION, OR DISCUSSION: A) TIMBERLINE ROAD PRESENTATION Ms. Martin presented the project for South Timberline Road, between Stetson Creek Ln. to Trilby Rd. It will be expanded to include intersection improvements and multimodal transportation improvements. The project is in the design phase with an estimated completion in 2021. Engineering staff suggested to the Board to use the Design Consultant Resource List. Ms. Hixon moved to go to the pre-approved list due to the timing and size of the project Ms. Chase seconded Unanimously approved Art in Public Places REGULAR MEETING 3/11/2020 – MINUTES Page 2 B) 222 LAPORTE ART UPDATE Ms. Martin presented information about the remodel of the building lobby and the relocation of the artwork by Michael Shields and Keeley Musgrave C) PEDESTRIAN PAVERS SUBMISSION REVIEW Ms. Martin reviewed the selection process. Marisa Donegan from Purchasing and Tom Knostman and James White from Streets were present to take part in the process. There was discussion about adding school information on the finished pavers however it was decided the space is too limited. Ms Hixon moved that we accept the fifteen designs voted upon and two alternates Ms Chase seconded Unanimously approved D) NORTHERN COLORADO LAW ENFORCEMENT TRAINING CENTER UPDATE Ms. Martin presented information from the joint meeting with the Loveland Public Art Commission where artist Mark Aeling shared the design of his piece Acumen. 7. OTHER BUSINESS Ms. Good shared information about the Youth Art Month exhibit at the Carnegie March 11–28. Ms. Davies shared information about news related to a development at Harmony and I-25 and asked if there an opportunity for public art gateway feature at that location. Ms. Davies asked about Broadband if there is an update as far as APP funding from the project. 8. ADJOURNMENT 4:44 pm Respectfully submitted, Liz Good
