organizations and agencies regarding youth-oriented issues and makes recommendations to City
Council about these issues.
The Youth Advisory Board meets the first Wednesday of each month – 5:30 PM, (no meetings
held June – August).
1. MEETING SCHEDULE:
Jan. 8 April 1 Oct. 7
Feb. 5 May 6 Nov. 4
March. 4 Sept. 2 Dec. 2
2. GOALS:
• Attend or view City Council Meetings, share input on current issues that are of
importance to youth in Fort Collins
• Increase awareness of the programs and events offered by the city of Fort Collins
3. WORK PLAN:
a) Attend or view City Council Meetings, share input on current issues that are of
importance to youth in Fort Collins
b) Increase awareness of the programs and events offered by the city of Fort Collins
c) Offer support to local initiatives through letters of support and tour existing facilities of
Fort Collins
