CALL TO ORDER Mark Partridge called to order at 5:30pm 2. ROLL CALL • Present: Dominique Ramirez, Mark Partridge, Dennis Hanno, Aaron Rodriguez, Heather Gossel, Sally Harris • Board Members Absent: none • Staff Members Present: Kristy Volesky (FCPD), Jenny Lopez Filkins • Guests: Joel Yust 3. AGENDA REVIEW • Nothing to review • Draw for upcoming case 2019-32: ▪ Unsure of actual timeline, earliest availability would be end of October ▪ 1- Sally, 2- Heather, 3- Dominique, 4- Aaron, 5- Mark, 6- Dennis 4. CITIZEN PARTICIPATION • Joel Yust – wonders if board has attended the citizen academy through the police academy. Also suggests the sheriff’s version. 5. APPROVAL OF MINUTES • Dennis motion to approve, Dominque second, approved unanimously 6. UNFINISHED BUSINESS • Link was sent out for Respectful Workplace training for members to do online, deadline is December to complete. • Sample memo was sent out by Mark, with corrections, should be used going forward to standard memo after cases. • 2019-038 questions: ▪ How long until the CRB has access to the case? ▪ Sally suggests sooner than later. The subcommittee will be rescheduled as soon as possible on that case. The way the code is written, based on the information Kristy shared about delays, is that good cause to extend the deadline. Jenny suggests an extension through November 23. ▪ Motion to approve extension of time for 2019-32 to be completed by November 23rd , Motion from Dominque, Second by Sally, unanimously approved. 7. NEW BUSINESS • Voicemail: None • Email: None • Subcommittee needs to be rescheduled because zip drives weren’t received by members until late last week. New date for subcommittee to meet will be: October 23rd, 5:30pm, at Police Services Building community room. Will be open to public. ▪ Joel – why is this available to the public versus other cases? ▪ Answer: All subcommittees are open to the public, then the group retreats to executive session to make decisions, then is open to the public again at the end. ▪ Public notices and notices to parties will be done. 8.
