1. CALL TO ORDER: 12:00 P.M.
2. ROLL CALL
• Board Members Present - Mr. Will Flowers, Ms. Jane Folsom, Ms. Tedi Cox, Ms.
Jennifer Zidon, Mr. Jesse Solomon, Ms. Vicki Fogel Mykles (by phone)
• Board Members Absent – Ms. Lili Francuz
• Staff Members Present - Mr. Jim McDonald, Ms. Liz Irvine
• Guests: Ms. Peggy Lyle

4. CITIZEN PARTICIPATION
• None
5. APPROVAL OF MINUTES
• Consideration and approval of the minutes from June 26, 2019. Ms. Tedi Cox made a
motion to accept the minutes. Mr. Jesse Solomon seconded the motion. The motion
passed unanimously.
6. UNFINISHED BUSINESS
• None
7. NEW BUSINESS
• Ms. Peggy Lyle, Director, Downtown Fort Collins Creative District – Update
• Liaisons for Fort Fund Grantees
a. Board Members were given copies of current and past assignments. The
Board Members will make their decisions in two weeks.
• Retreat:
a. 9/21/19 Fort Collins Museum of Discover, Markley Board Room, 9-3 p.m.
b. Items to be addressed:
o Workplan
o Fort Fund Guidelines 2020
o Tourism
8. DIRECTOR’S REPORT
a. Update on the Fort Fund Article (June 21, 2019)
b. The Gardens on Spring Creek - Possible November opening.

c. The Fort Collins Museum of Discovery - Had 31K people visit in Q2. The
Sugar Beet exhibit prompted new memberships.
d. The Lincoln Center - Summer Concert Series was well attended.
e. APP/Visual Arts - Utility cabinets are being painted now. Busy with Whitewater
Park and Willow Street projects. The Lincoln Center is currently exhibiting the
37th
Annual Quilt Show.
f. FoCo Creates Arts & Culture Master Plan is on the Cultural Services web page
under the list of City Departments.
g. Loveland is redoing their Art Museum.
9. BOARD MEMBER REPORTS (EVENT ATTENDANCE, ETC.)
• Mr. Will Flowers attended the Avery House 4th
of July program.
