Minutes
Wednesday July 10, 2019 11:30 a.m.

Mission: The Senior Advisory Board shall serve in an advisory capacity y to the Fort Collins City
Council on programs and policies that help aging citizens live full and interesting lives and continue to
contribute, participate, and share in the life of the community.
NOTE: light lunch will be served

III. Administrative Items
a. Attendance: Nancy Luttropp, David Kovach, Sarah Schilz; Jan Rossi; Myles Crane; Greg
Wells; staff Katie Stieber; Excused: Jason Brabson, Suzanne King
b. Approval of Minutes
c. Correspondence: Mayor sent response regarding support of Women’s initiative
d. SAB 2019 Calendar: updated, see handout
e. Public Participation: none
IV. Today’s Speakers
Joseph Domko, Regional Director, Larimer County Catholic Charities
Unable to attend
Dr. Susan Schneider, CSU Extension/Senior Access Points of Larimer County
Shared information on Senior Access Points and handed out literature

VI. Ongoing projects
a. Intergenerational Conversations Project (6/20 Meeting Notes previously emailed)
i. Notes sent via email from Myles to board
ii. Fort Collins October 26
iii. PAFC would like to have them continue
iv. Agenda handed out for next meeting July 18; and discussion on marketing theme
v. Women’s commission is supporting the event; CSU offering facilitator training; library
support
b. Partnership for Age-Friendly Communities Annual Report to be distributed
c. Review of semi-annual SAB report to be distributed to City Council
