A regular meeting of the Liquor Licensing Authority was held February 2, 2017 in Municipal Court, 215
North Mason. Judge Kathleen M. Lane presiding.

Show Cause Hearing for Robbins LLC,
dba Matt's Place, 6013 South College Avenue,
. Stipulation Agreement Approved
Matt Robbins, representative for Robbins, LLC, stated he has had an opportunity to review the
Stipulation Agreement.
Assistant City Attorney Scurlock summarized the stipulation agreement. She stated the Licensee has
agreed to a 15 day suspension, 5 days served ($1248.90 fine paid in lieu of suspension), with 10 days held
in abeyance for 1 year for violating Colorado Liquor Code Section 12-47-901(1)(a.5)(1) prohibiting the
service of an alcohol beverage to a person under the age of twenty-one years.
Judge Lane approved the findings, conclusion and order accepting the stipulation agreement as presented
for Robbins, LLC, dba Matt's Place, 6013 South College Avenue.

Stipulation Agreement 42roved
Young Joo Lee, owner, stated he has had an opportunity to review the Stipulation Agreement.
Assistant City Attorney Scurlock summarized the stipulation agreement. She stated the Licensee has
agreed to a 15 day suspension, 4 days served ($2785.94 fine paid in lieu of suspension) with 11 days held
in abeyance for 1 year for violating C.R.S. 12-47-80(5)(2)(a), failing to turn over Ids/Drivers Licenses
within 72 hours, and C.R.S. 12-47-901(1)(a), permitting the sale or service of alcohol to a visibly
intoxicated person, and C.R.S. Section 12-47-901(10) failure to check identification of persons under fifty
(50) years of age, on November 11, 2016.

Judge Lane approved the findings, conclusion and order accepting the stipulation agreement as presented
for Young Joo Lee, dba Proppect Liquors, 1115 West Prospect Road.

Luis Lopez, representative for Lopez Montel, Inc., stated he has had an opportunity to review the
Stipulation Agreement.
Assistant City Attorney Scurlock summarized the stipulation agreement. She stated the Licensee has
agreed to a 10 day of suspension, 5 days served ($504.24 fine paid in lieu of suspension) with 5 days held
in abeyance for 1 year for violating C.R.S. Section 12-47-901 (1)(a.5), prohibiting the service of an alcohol
beverage to a person under the age of twenty-one years on November 12, 2016.
Judge Lane approved the findings, conclusion and order accepting the stipulation agreement as presented
for Lopez Montel, Inc., dba Pueblo Viejo Family Mexican Restaurant, 185 North College Avenue.

Stipulation Agreement Approved
Faiq Majeed, representative for Lilly Julian, Inc., and 7-Eleven, Inc., stated he has an opportunity to
review the Stipulation Agreement.
Assistant City Attorney Scurlock summarized the stipulation agreement. She stated the Licensee has
agreed to a 15 day of suspension, 5 days served ($200 fine paid in lieu of suspension) with 10 days held
in abeyance for 1 year for violating C.R.S. Section 12-47-901(1)(a.5)(I) prohibiting the service of an
alcohol beverage to a person under the age of twenty one years on December 16, 2016.
Judge Lahne approved the findings, conclusion and order accepting the stipulation agreement as
presented for Lilly Julian, Inc., and 7-Eleven, Inc., dba 7-Eleven #20104A, 430 Remington Street.
Registration of Susan Kay Livingston as
Manager of Chippers Lanes,
217 West Horsetooth Road, Approved
Susan Livingston, manager applicant, stated she requires all new servers to be TIPS certified and that all
patrons that order an alcoholic beverage are required to provide valid identification.
Judge Lane approved the registration of Susan Kay Livingston as manager of Chippers Lane's at 217
West Horsetooth Road.

Registration of Sasha Marie Vanden Heuvel as
Manager of Sonny Lubick Steakhouse,

Sasha Vanden Heuvel, manager applicant, stated any new employee are required to be TIPS certified and
that she has a current copy of the liquor code on premise.
Judge Lane approved the registration of Sasha Vanden Heuvel as manager of Sonny Lubick Steakhouse,
115 South College Avenue.
Hearing on a New Application from Ovations Food Services, LP,
for a hotel -restaurant liquor license at
Ovations at Sony Lubick Stadium, 701 West Pitkin Street, Approved
Karla Lewis, facility manager, was sworn. Ms. Lewis briefly described the stadium as a multi -use facility.
In response to questions from the Liquor Licensing Authority, Ms. Lewis detailed the diagrams.
Max Scott, representative for Oedipus, Inc., was sworn. He briefly described the petitioning process and
that this survey show support for this hotel -restaurant liquor license.
Judge Lane adopted Resolution 2017-003 approving a hotel -restaurant liquor license application from
Ovations Food Services, LP, dba Ovations at Sonny Lubick Stadium, 701 West Pitkin Street.

Studio Be Salon 15 Old Town Square, Suite 131, Approved
Ian and Beth Weber, representatives for Studio Be, LLC, were sworn. Ms. Weber stated their customers
have requested this beer and wine service. She briefly described the petitioning process and that it
indicates support for these two applications.
Judge Lane adopted Resolution 2017-002 approving a beer and wine license application from Studio Be,
LLC, for a beer and wine license at Studio Be Salon, 2720 Council Tree Avenue, Suite 180.
