1. CALL TO ORDER: 12:25 PM
2. ROLL CALL: It was determined that a quorum was not present, thus all formal voting
would be refrained from for this meeting.
3. AGENDA REVIEW: Accessible parking downtown was tabled to allow room for continued
discussion on business topic.
4. CITIZEN PARTICIPATION: N/A
5. APPROVAL OF MINUTES: Mike made a motion to approve the minutes from the July
meeting as is. Mandy seconded this motion. A vote was taken, and the motion to
approve the July minutes was unanimously approved.
6. PRESENTATIONS AND DISCUSSIONS: N/A
7. BUSINESS: A lengthy conversation ensued about COD members’ feelings about the July
Meeting. Feeling were expressed about being misunderstand from an inclusivity point of view.
8. OTHER BUSINESS: Final meal decisions were made for CSU Mayor’s awards. It was
formally decided that the luncheon will be held from 11:30-1:30 PM. There was a short
discussion regarding the renaming of the COD awards. Henceforth, they will be deemed the
COD Community Recognition Awards, and bi-monthly planning meetings will be held
beginning Thursday August 23rd at noon in the City Hall CIC Room.
9. BOARD MEMBER REPORTS: NWF Site Review tomorrow (8/10/18) at 9 am.
10. ADJOURNMENT: Terry made a motion to adjourn. Mandy seconded the motion, a vote
was taken, and the group unanimously agreed. The meeting adjourned at 2:13 PM.
