Call to Order: 12:26 p.m.
1. Introductions:
2. Approval of Minutes: July-Minutes passed as amended, Marr moved to
approve Efird seconded.
3. Open Discussion:
a. Discussion about the new work log and how we are going to use it. Talked
about how it would be updated and information would be tracked.
4. New Business:
a. Mosbey gave an update on the sidewalk prioritization model. He shared
with us the census data and how it is broken down to be used for the new
sidewalk prioritization model. A new City prioritization map has been made
for Fort Collins. Schlicting gave Mosbey information on some of the problem
sidewalks he is aware of. Update on the Harmony sidewalk- the sidewalk
will be added to the 2018 calendar. The City was hopping to do it this year
but there was a lack of funding in the City budget.
b. Smith gave the COD a follow up to her presentation she gave in May about
the City rebate programs that are available. She wants to get the word out
about the different programs. She welcomed any feedback.
c. Macrina talked about using the Engage Program to track hours of time spent
on Commission maters, we can also use Engage to volunteer for other City
opportunities. She showed us how the website worked and answered any
questions we had.
5. Unfinished Business:
a. 2018 work plan will be resent via email for those not at the meeting.
Before the next meeting we are to look over the information and have
feedback, changes and ideas ready. The work plan needs to be submitted
to the City at the end of September.
b. Sunday / Holiday bus service- we were given a map of the available
service areas. The COD has some questions about the Sunday/Holiday
service.
c. Mayors Awards- Thomas showed the online nomination format and
answered questions the COD had.
6. Community News and Updates: No community news or updates.
Schlicting moved to adjourn. Efird seconded.
Meeting adjourned at 2:18 pm.
