Mason Street, Fort Collins, Colorado 80524 Council Liaison: Council Member Bob Overbeck Staff Liaison: Equal Opportunity and Compliance Officer, Carol Thomas Recorder: Jayne A. Smith Present: Colleen Conway, Cynthia Davis, Jessica Gengler, Hillel Katzir, Julia Mackewich, Susan Mathre, and Victor Smith. Absent: Kimberly Allison and Jean Runyon. • Christine Macrina – Boards and Commissions Coordinator present; Carol Thomas absent. Call to Order: The meeting was called to order at 5:31 p.m. by Julia Mackewich, Chair. Agenda Review: The meeting agenda was motioned and approved 7-0. Approval of Minutes: With the following correction made to the April 12, 2018 minutes: “Jean Runyon voted in as Government Relations Chair”, the April minutes were motioned and approved 7-0. Public Input: None. Discussion Topics: • Detailed overview of the discussions made at the EOC Meeting were provided by Hillel Katzir. Involvement by the HRC, such as a social impact dinner, bringing many of these interested parties together on a united front for further involvement was discussed. • Review of Superboard meeting whereas the Triple Bottom Line Scan was reviewed. • Cynthia Davis described the current Decision Matrix which she compiled from various resources. • Group discussion regarding Recorder for each meeting or take volunteers from within the commission. Topic tabled until November 2018 meeting. • Colleen Conway provided an update and will provide a checklist of items needed for HRC reunion. Event is to be held on July 25, 2018 at the Redcloud Peak Building, Front Range Community College, Larimer Campus. • Victor Smith informed the HRC that the Vine Drive toll bridge project was dropped. • Julia Mackewich and Colleen Conway reported on the Women’s Commission Breakfast. • Julia Mackewich left the meeting early. • Cynthia Davis gives a short overview of the current budget and expenses. • Discussion to invite a high school or college age individual to be involved with the commission as a youth advisor in a non-voting capacity. • In an effort of outreach Hillel Katzir will host Julia Mackewich, as a guest speaker on KRFC community radio. Closing: A motion to adjourn was approved 7-0 at 7:08 p.m. The Next HRC meeting will be Thursday, June 14, 2018, at 5:30 p.m.
