The Youth Advisory Board gathers information from local youth, other groups,
organizations and agencies regarding youth-oriented issues and makes
recommendations to City Council about these issues.
The Youth Advisory Board meets the first Wednesday of each month – 5:30 p.m., (no
meetings held June - August) at the Foothills Activity Center.
Youth Advisory Board 2018 Work Plan
1. Meet with regional Youth Advisory Boards to discuss Youth oriented issues being
faced in each community. Coordinate a regional project from a common
concern.
2. Engage more fully with City Council. Follow the 6-month planning calendar.
Research and gather the youth community’s thoughts and opinions on
Transportation.
3. Attend or view a City Council meeting, share on input on current issues, and learn
more about community outreach.
