Guest Presenters:
• Nick Verni-Lau – Outreach Ft. Collins
• Vanessa Fenley – Coordinated Assessment and Housing Placement System
CALL TO ORDER
The meeting was called to order at 5:32 p.m.
AGENDA REVIEW
The meeting agenda was unanimously approved.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES
The April meeting minutes were unanimously approved.
PUBLIC INPUT
Myles Crane, Senior Advisor Board, discussed senior services including rent and buying situations for seniors.
GUEST PRESENTATIONS
• Nick Verni-Lau, Outreach Fort Collins, described street level outreach and focus of outreach Fort Collins to
reduces tension between the business owners, visitors and people who are experiencing homelessness.
• Vanessa Fenley, Coordinated Assessment and Housing Placement System, explained the processes that
determine and assess the level of appropriate housing for Veterans and adults targeted by this program.
DISCUSSION TOPICS
• Work Session Report, including updates on progress for education and outreach was presented by Colleen
Conway and discussed.
• Jimena Sagas reported on the Government Relations Committee goals.
CLOSING
A motion to adjourn was unanimously approved at 7:54 p.m.
The Next HRC meeting will be Thursday June 8, 2017, at 5:30 p.m. in the CIC Room, City Hall West.
