CALL TO ORDER The meeting was called to order by Katie Ko at 5:30 pm 2. ROLL CALL a. Katie Ko, Suhaas Narayanan, Emily Winn, Kaustubh Kaushik, Sam Hammock b. Members Absent – Vivian Bear, Milan Khosla c. Staff Present - Tim Stabbe (Senior Supervisor Recreation) 3. AGENDA REVIEW – 4. C PARTICIPATION – AP Government Students of Fort Collins High School 5. APPROVAL OF N 7 MINUTES – Winn motioned to approve. Ko seconded. Minutes pass as presented. 6. UNFINISHED BUSINESS - Community Chalkboard (In the works, date has been set and approved) 7. NEW BUSINESS ● Leadership Tip of the Month – Emily Winn spoke on the importance of internal initiative ● Transportation Board Survey. (Created by Milan Khosla and Emily Winn) Karl Ayers has informed the Transportation Board of the YAB survey and they would welcome a presentation by a board member. o Board member was rescheduled to come in January ● More on transportation survey: Board helped emily with edits and touched up survey to perfection) ● Future of Transit Panel discussion. (with member of transit) o who still rides the bus o difficulty walking from bus stop to house (especially in winter time) o solutions for the future ● Community Chalkboard: Approved, planning in progress. End date set for the beginning of January (materials such as chalk will be provided by the mall) o Meeting with the manager of mall went well and since a new food court is being built directly by the the chalkboard, the placement is prime. o Talk of a ribbon cutting ceremony for chalkboard 12/05/2018 – MINUTES Page 1 YOUTH ADVISORY BOARD TYPE OF MEETING – (REGULAR, WORKSESSION, SPECIAL) ▪ restaurants around the mall could possibly provide food for attendees. ● Proposals of New Ideas o Tennis Court Lights (Kaushik) 8. BOARD MEMBER REPORTS - None 9. OTHER BUSINESS – ● There is talk of a water park being built for the kayaking community of Fort Collins on the Poudre River 10.ADJOURNMENT Motion to adjourn made by Ko at 7:45 pm, seconded by Winn.
