SPECIAL MEETING MINUTES
PROCESS IMPROVEMENT SUBCOMMITTEE

July 18, 2018 – 5:15 PM
SUBCOMMITTEE OBJECTIVE: The Process Improvement Subcommittee will gather for five
meetings over the 2018 summer months to review and provide input on the City’s Competitive
Process for human services grant funding. The Subcommittee will be composed of three CDBG
Commission members.

Sara Maranowicz
Serena Thomas
Olga Duvall
COMMISSION MEMBERS ABSENT:
None
STAFF PRESENT:
Adam Molzer – Staff Liaison
At 5:30 PM the meeting was called to order.
PUBLIC COMMENT:
No Public Comment.
COMPETITIVE PROCESS IMPROVEMENT
• Reviewed the ‘desired destination’ notes from prior meeting.
• Commission members and staff liaison worked through an exercise to give further definition
to the primary improvement themes that were identified at the June 20 meeting.
• The exercise resulted in 3 improvement targets and related actions. The targets will be
used at upcoming meetings to evaluate and create alignment with the various components
of the Competitive Process.
