HomeMy WebLinkAboutSenior Advisory Board - Minutes - 01/10/2018City of Fort Collins Senior Advisory Board MINUTES Wednesday, January 10, 2018 11:30 a.m. Fort Collins Senior Center 1200 Raintree Drive Fort Collins, Colorado 80526 Mission: The Senior Advisory Board shall serve in an advisory capacity y to the Fort Collins City Council on programs and policies that help aging citizens live full and interesting lives and continue to contribute, participate, and share in the life of the community. NOTE: Light lunch will be provided. Board Members Present: Nancy Luttrop, Dhara Rose, Wendy True, Sue Dalton, Gregory Wells, Myles Crane, Suzanne King Staff Present: Katie Stieber, Lisa Hays Speaker(s) and Guests: Paulette Murry guest Absent: Jason Brabson excused, Sarah Schilz excused I. Legislators are in session, Sarah Schilz; potential opportunity for SAB to attend the senior day at the capitol, March 21, via van or carpool, and attend lunch with select legislators c. Speaker suggestions and discussion i. Speakers cannot present on a for-profit business, but rather how to better serve seniors ii. Senior trends iii. Aging Center of the Rockies iv.
