Staff Liaison: Aimee Jensen A regular meeting of the Liquor Licensing Authority was held on February 25, 2013 in Municipal Court, 215 North Mason. Judge Kathleen M. Lane presiding. Staff in attendance: Bronwyn Scurlock, Assistant City Attorney Aimee Jensen, Deputy City Clerk Mark Clitnovici, Liquor Enforcement Officer Approval of Minutes Judge Lane approved the minutes from February 11, 2013. Consent Agenda a. Request from B&B's Pickle Barrel, Inc., dba B&B's Pickle Barrel to Change, Alter, or Modify the Licensed Premises at 122 West Laurel Street. Judge Lane approved the request from B&B's Pickle Barrel, Inc., dba B&B's Pickle Barrel, to Change, Alter, or Modify the Licensed Premises at 122 West Laurel Street. Show Cause Hearing for GoldenMeck, Inc., dba Fabby's Wine & Spirits, 2608 South Timberline Road, #112, Stipulation Agreement, Approved Assistant City Attorney Scurlock summarized the stipulation agreement. She stated the Licensee has agreed to a 15 day suspension, 5 days served ($5000 fine paid in lieu of suspension), with 10 days held in abeyance for 1 year for violating C.R.S. 12-47-901(1)(a.5)(I), permitting the sale or service of alcohol beverages to a person under the age of 21 years. Jon Martin, representative for GoldenMeck, Inc., stated the employee that sold to the underage operative was immediately fired. Judge Lane approved the findings, conclusion and order accepting the stipulation agreement as presented for GoldenMeck, Inc., dba Fabby's Wine & Spirits, 2608 South Timberline Road, #112. February 25, 2013 Registration of Scott Phillips as Manager of El Monte Grill,1611 South College Avenue, Approved Scott Phillips, manager applicant, stated he was recently hired as the general manager. In response to a question from the Authority, Mr. Phillips described the training he has received and the training he requires all his employees to complete. Mr. Phillips stated the birthdate for which they can serve alcohol is posted daily. Judge Lane approved the manager registration of Scott Phillips as manager of El Monte Grill, 1611 South College Avenue. Hearing on a Change of Location Application from Nimo's Inc., dba Nimo's Sushi and Japanese Restaurant to move a beer and wine license from 1220 West Elizabeth to 921 East Harmony Road, #104, Approved Hiroshi Nimota, representative for Nimo's, Inc., was sworn. He stated he is moving into a space formerly occupied by an Asian restaurant. Mr. Nimota stated the restaurant will be run the same way as at the previous location. He stated he has been in business since 1994 and has not had a liquor violation. Ellyn Just, representative for Aggie Agency, was sworn. She briefly described the petitioning process. Ms. Just stated the petitions indicate strong support by the neighborhood for this application. Judge Lane approved the change of location application from Nimo's Inc., dba Nimo's Sushi and Japanese Restaurant to move a beer and wine license from 1220 West Elizabeth to 921 East Harmony Road, #104.
