Staff liaison: Aimee Jensen A regular meeting of the Liquor Licensing Authority was held September 4, 2014 in Municipal Court, 215 North Mason. Judge Kathleen M. Lane presiding. Staff in attendance: Bronwyn Scurlock, Assistant City Attorney Matt Hahn, Liquor Enforcement Officer Michelle Johnston, Liquor Enforcement Officer Aimee Jensen, Deputy City Clerk Approval of Minutes Judge Lane approved the minutes from August 20, 2014 Registration of Zachary Robert Parklet as Manager of HuHot Mongolian Grill, 249 South College Avenue, Approved Zachary Robert Parklet, manager applicant, stated he supervises approximate 15-20 people that are involved directly with the sale and service of alcohol and that he is responsible for training other employees. He stated he has one assistant manager and that he works 45-55 hours per week. Mr. Parklet stated he reviews corporate policy with respect to the sale and service of alcohol with each new employee. He stated everyone must present a valid ID in order to be served alcohol. Mr. Parklet stated he has experience with visibly intoxicated patrons and stated any employee found in violation of the liquor code is immediately terminated. He stated all employees are required to read and sign their alcohol policies. Judge Lane approved the registration of Zachary Robert Parklet as the Manager of HuHot Mongolian Grill, 249 South College Avenue. September 4, 2014 Transfer of Ownership of Everyday Stores, from Singh Store, Inc., to Jeet, Inc., 949 South Taft Hill Road, Approved Harben Lali, representative for Singh Store, Inc., stated that the new owner has received training with respect to the sale and service of alcohol. Harjot Kaur, representative for Jeer, Inc., stated that if any employee violates the liquor code they will be immediately terminated and that every patron purchasing beer must provide a valid identification. She stated she is not making any changes to thepremises. Ms. Kaur stated that she has retained the manager from the previous ownership and that this manager has extensive experience with respect to the sale and service of alcohol. She stated that Ms. Rossiter, manager, is on premise when she cannot be. Judge Lane approved the transfer of ownership of Everyday Stores, from Singh Store, Inc., to Jeer, Inc., 949 South Taft Hill Road. Transfer of Ownership of 7-Eleven Store 26927B, from Akal, Inc., & 7-Eleven, Inc., to MM VanDeList, Inc., & 7-Eleven, Inc., 1600 South Lemay Avenue, Approved Kevin Coates, attorney representing VanDeList, Inc., & 7-Eleven, Inc., stated eh will give a brief presentation and tender any witnesses to answer questions the Authority may have. He stated Ms. VanDeList has received extensive training with respect to the sale and service of alcohol and all the processes involved with co -owning this license. Ms. VanDeList stated she will not make any changes to the premises. Judge Lane approved the transfer of ownership of 7-Eleven Store 26927B, from Akal, Inc., & 7-Eleven, Inc., to MM VanDeList, Inc., & 7-Eleven, Inc., 1600 South Lemay Avenue.
