A regular meeting of the Liquor Licensing Authority was held on July 2, 2002 in Municipal Court,
Justice Center, 201 LaPorte. Judge Kathleen M. Lane Presiding.
Staff in attendance: Teresa Ablao, Assistant CityAttorney
Richard Johnson, Liquor Enforcement Officer
Aimee Jensen, Deputy City Clerk
Agenda Review
Deputy City Clerk Jensen stated there were no changes to the agenda..
Hearing on a New Application from Fiesta Patio Cafe
on a Hotel -Restaurant Liquor License at
Fiesta Patio's Del Sol Tequila Bar,
151 South College Avenue, Suite B, Approved
Patricia H. Diaz, representative for Fiesta Patio Cafe, was sworn. She briefly described the restaurant
and the premises. Ms. Diaz stated they will card anyone who appears to 30 years of age or younger.
She stated their main focus will be serving full meals. Ms. Diaz stated they have a current copy of the
liquor code on premise. She stated they have never had a liquor code violation. Ms. Diaz stated they
will have a two drink limit on their largest margaritas.
Max Scott, representative for Oedipus, Inc., was sworn. He briefly described the petitioning process.
The petitions were marked as Exhibit A. Mr. Scott stated that theyare contracted to provide signatures
but do not guarantee the results.
Judge Lane adopted Resolution 2002-15 approving an application from Fiesta Patio Cafe for a hotel -
restaurant liquor license at Fiesta Patio's Del Sol Tequila Bar, 151 South College Avenue, Suite B.
