Staff Liaison: Aimce Jensen A regular meeting of the Liquor Licensing Authority was held on December 17, 2012 in Municipal Court, 215 North Mason. Judge Kathleen M. Lane presiding. Staff in attendance: Bronwyn Scurlock, Assistant City Attorney Aimce Jensen, Deputy City Clerk Mark Chtnovici, Liquor Enforcement Officer Approval of Minutes Judge Lane approved the minutes from December 3, 2012. Registration of Colin Randall as Manager of Jax Fish House, 123 North College Avenue, Approved Colin Randall, manager applicant, stated he is currently T IP's certified and that all his employees have received training. He stated he does have an assistant manager that is on premise when he is not. Mr. Randall stated they are members of the Responsible Alcohol Retailers group. He stated all patrons that appear to be under the age of 50 are carded when ordering an alcoholic beverage. Mr. Randall stated they screen patrons for visible intoxication as they enter the restaurant. He stated the two hostesses are also TIP's trained and that any employee found in violation of the liquor code is immediately terminated. JudgELane approved the registration of Colin Randall as manager ofJax Fish House,123 North College Avenue. Request from McCumin Family Enterprises, LLC, dba Ram Liquor to Change, Alter, or Modify the Licensed Premises at 1119 West Drake Road, Unit C34 and C38, Approved Michael McCurnin, representative for McCurnin Family Enterprises, LLC, stated that since another liquor store in the neighborhood has closed, he has experienced an increase in patronage. In response to questions from the Authority, Mr. McCurnin, described the proposed changes. He detailed the petitioning process, staring that he received support for this application from the business' and residences in the immediate neighborhood. Judge Lane approved the request from McCurnin Family Enterprises, LLC dba Ram Liquor to change, alter, or modify the licensed premises at 1119 West Drake Road, unit C34 and C38. December 17, 2012 Request from Preliterate & Legendary, Inc., dba The Forge Publick House to Change, Alter, or Modify the Licensed Premises at 232 Walnut Street, Approved Nathan Myrick, representative for Preliterate & Legendary, Inc., stated this application will double the size of their premises. He stated the proposed addition would not be open during week, only on the weekends when they are busier. Mr. Myrick stated he has not had Poudre Fire Authority review these changes, that he is waiting to see if this modification of premise was granted before moving forward with the application process. He stated if this addition of the patio causes increased noise they will install plesiglass on the patio walls to buffer noise. Judge Lane approved the request from Preliterate & Legendary, Inc., dba The Forge Public House to change, alter, or modify the licensed premises at 232 Walnut Street.
