Judge Kathleen M. Lane presiding. Staff in attendance: JennyLopezFilkins, Assistant City Attorney Aimee Jensen, Deputy Gty Clerk Agenda Review Deputy City Clerk Jensen stated that there were no changes to the agenda. Approval of Minutes Judge Lane approved the minutes from Maya, 2010. Registration of John McNutt as Manager of Chipotle Mexican Grill, 649 South College Avenue, Approved John McNutt, manager applicant, brieflydescribed his background. He stated he has received extensive training through Chipotle, having completed April 2, 2010. Mr. McNutt stated that most of the 20 employees he supervises are involved in the sale and service of alcohol. He stated theycard anypatron ordering an alcoholic beverage. Mr. McNutt stated any employee found intentionally violating the liquor code they are immediately terminated. He stated he has a current copy of the liquor code on premise. Judge Lane approved the manager registration of John McNutt as manager of Chipotle Mexican Grill, 649 South College Avenue. Registration of Brian Spencer as Manager of Outback Steakhouse, 807 East Harmony Road, Approved Brian Spencer, manager applicant, brieflydescribed his background. He stated he has been working for Outback for nearly 10 years and that he has two assistant managers. Mr. Spencer stated he works approximately 65 hours a week and that there is always at least one manager on premise at all times. May 17, 2010 He has stated any patrons ordering an alcoholic beverage and appearing to be under the age of 40, is carded. Mr. Spencer stated any employee found in violation of the liquor code is immediately terminated. He stated he has a current copy of the liquor code on premise. Hearing on a New Application from Larkburger, LLC, for a beer and wine license at Larkburger, 2539 South College Avenue, Unit C, Approved Adam Baker, representative for Larkburger, LLC, was sworn. He stated theyare applying for a beer and wine license, however, they will only be serving beer. Mr. Baker stated that beer sales are only 1% of their tota 1 sales. He stated he is a 11P's certified trainer and that all employees involved in the sales and service of beer is required to be TIP's trained. Mr. Baker stated they have a location in Boulder, Edwards and Greenwood Village. He stated they keep a notice on the register to remind the cashier of the date after which they can sell beer. Mr. Baker stated the beer is keep in a cooler under the register. In response to a question from the Authority, he described the patio and that they will have an emergency gate incorporated into the patio fence. He stated only few employees will be involved in the sale and service of alcohol. Max Scott, representative for Oedipus, Inc., was sworn. He briefly described the petitioning process and that this is a very high result for a beer and wine license application. Judge Lane adopted Resolution 2010-02 approving a beer and wine license from Larkburger, LLC at Larkburger, 2539 South College Avenue, Unit C p.m Adjournment FA Municipal Judge
