Judge Kathleen M. Lane presiding. Staff in attendance: Bronwyn Scurlock, Assistant CityAttomey Aimee Jensen, Deputy City Clerk Kyle Bendzsa, Liquor Enforcement Officer Agenda Review Deputy City Clerk Jensen stated that there were no changes to the agenda. Registration of Paul Hutson as Manager of Chesterfield, Bottomsley & Potts, 1415 West Elizabeth Street, Approved Paul Hutson, manager applicant, stated he has been in the restaurant business for manyyears. He stated he recently completed UP's training. In response to a question from the Authority, Mr. Hutson stated any employee found serving an underage patron is immediatelyterminated. He stated he has a current copy of the liquor code on premise. Judge Lane approved the registration of Paul Hutson as manager of Chesterfield, Bottomsly & Potts, 1415 West Elizabeth Street. Registration of Jon Shaffer as Manager of Enzio's Italian Kitchen, 126 West Mountain Avenue, Approved Jon Shaffer, manager applicant, stated he has been certified in SafeServe in the past and will require the staff to complete this training. He stated anypatron that looks under the age of 40 will be carded. Mr. Shaffer stated he has instructed his employees to involve a manager if theysuspect a patron has had too much to drink. He stated they have a current copy of the liquor code on premise. Judge Lane approved the registration of Jon Shaffer as manager of Enzio's Italian Kitchen, 126 West Mountain Avenue. March 21, 2011 Registration of Michael Genot as Manager of MacKenzie Place, 4750 Pleasant Oak Drive, Approved Michael Genot, manager applicant, stated he has been in long term health care industry for 17 years. He stated all the previous facilities have had a liquor license. In response to a question from the Authority, Mr. Genot described his training and certifications. He stated Michael Wray, another manager, is directly responsible for supervising the employees involved in the sale and service of alcohol. Judge Lane approved the registration of Michael Genot as manager of MacKenzie Place, 4750 Pleasant Oak Drive. Transfer of Ownership of Hampton Inn - Fort Collins, 1620 Oakridge Drive from Summit Hotel Properties, LLC to Summit Hotel TRS 028, LLC, Approved AND Transfer of Ownership of Hilton Garden Inn, 2821 East Harmony Road from Summit Hotel Properties, LLC to Summit Hotel TRS 032, LLC, Approved Alan Dill, attomeyrepresenting Summit Hotel TRS 028, LLC and Suminit Hotel TRS 032, LLC, stated the premises and operations will remain the same. He stated these transfers is to allow a public offering of stock. In response to a question from the Authority, Mr. Dill stated that the public will not see anything different with respect to how the hotels are operated. Judge Lane approved the transfer of ownership of Hampton Inn - Fort Collins, 1620 Oakridge Drive from Summit Hotel Properties, LLC to Summit Hotel TRS 028, LLC. Judge Lane approved the transfer of ownership of Hilton Garden Inn, 2821 East HarmonyRoad, from Summit Hotel Properties, LLC to Summit Hotel TRS 032, LLC. Registration of Angela Harper as Manager of Hilton Garden Inn, 2821 East Harmony Road, Approved Angela Harper, manager applicant, stated she was hired September 1, 2010 and that she is TIP's trained. She stated she will require employee directly involved with the sale and service of alcohol will be required to complete TIP's training. Judge Lane approved the registration of Angela Harper as the manager of Hilton Garden Inn, 2821 East Harmony Road. Pa March 21, 2011 Hearing on a New Application from C Corp Solar, for a hotel -restaurant liquor license at Bones, Pies & Pitchers, 1335 west Elizabeth Street, Suite 160; Approved Chad Fegely, representative for C Corp Solar, stated he has been in the restaurant business for over 20 years. He stated he is ServeSafe certified and has training scheduled for all his employees. Mr. Fegely stated he anticipates that lunch time will be his busiest time of day. He stated he will be limiting his alcohol service to strictly beer at the beginning. In response to a question from the Authority, Mr. Fegelystated he can see the entire premises. Mr. Fegelystated he has a current copyof the liquor code on premise. He stated he has never had a liquor code violation. Max Scott, representative for Oedipus, Inc., was sworn. He detailed the petitioning process. Mr. Scott stated that 99% of the neighborhood surveyed show support for this hotel -restaurant liquor license. Judge Lane adopted Resolution 2011-06 approving an application from C Corp Solar, for a hotel - restaurant liquor license at Bones, Pies & Pitchers, 1335 West Elizabeth Street, Suite 160. Hearing on a New Application from Ambiance, Inc., for a brew pub liquor license at Fort Collins Brewery, 1020 East Lincoln Avenue, Approved Thomas Peter, representative for Ambiance, Inc., and Tobi Bean, general manager, were sworn. In response to a question from the Authority, Ms. Bean stated that this will be a full -service restaurant, serving American cuisine. Mr. Peters detailed the restaurant premises. Ms. Bean briefly described her background, stating that she will be the general manager of the restaurant. Mr. Peters stated he will be the manager of the entire premises. Ms. Bean stated all employees will be required to complete TIP's training prior to opening. She stated all patrons ordering an alcoholic beverage will be carded. Ms. Bean stated that she has a current copy of the liquor code on premise. Max Scott, representative for Oedipus, Inc., was swom. He detailed the petitioning process. Mr. Scott stated that this is an unusual neighborhood, not only incorporating residences and business, but industrial. He stated all the businesses were in support of this application. Mr. Scott stated that 99% of the neighborhood are in support of issuance of this application.
