Regular Meeting - August 23, 2004

A regular meeting of the Liquor Licensing Authority was held on August 23, 2004 in Municipal
Court, Justice Center, 201 LaPorte. Judge Kathleen M. Lane presiding.
Staff in attendance: Teresa Ablao, Assistant City Attorney
Aimee Jensen, Deputy City Clerk
Bob Younger, Liquor Enforcement Officer
Agenda Review
Deputy City Clerk stated that there was no change to the Agenda.
Transfer of Ownership of Fish's Liquor Mart,
1007 East Harmony Road,
from Harmony Liquor Mart Inc, dba to Canam Spirits, Inc.. Approved
Richard Lockwood, representative for Canam Sprits, Inc., briefly described his background. He
stated all the employees from the previous owner have continued their employment. Mr. Lockwood
stated he will contact Officer Younger for training. He stated he has instructed his employees to card
any patron that appears to be 30 years of age or younger. Mr. Lockwood stated he has a current copy
of the liquor code on premise. In response to a question from the Authority, Mr. Lockwood detailed
the layout of the store.
Judge Lane approved the transfer of ownership of Fish's Liquor Mart, 1007 East Harmony Road,
from Harmony Liquor Mart, Inc., dba to Canam Spirits, Inc.

The meeting adjourned at 1:15 p.m.
