Agenda Item 3 - Public Comment Fort Collins resident Eric Sutherland summarized the economic development strategies that the City could pursue on the energy front highlighting HB 08-1350. Presentation follow-up discussion led the Economic Advisory Commission to make the following recommendation: Jim Clark motioned: The Economic Advisory Commission recommends that an action step be added to include the possibility of economic generators such as sports complexes and cycling parks in the Parks and Recreation Policy Plan to City Council. Febvre second, and the recommendation passed unanimously. Per the EAC, this language/recommendation is to be included in the minutes and added to the Parks and Recreation Plan Policy update scheduled to go to Council Feb 17, 2009. This language was not drafted in a formal memo to Council.
