HomeMy WebLinkAboutLandmark Preservation Commission - Minutes - 07/22/1982• t LANDMARK PRESERVATION COMMISSION July 22, 1982 MEMBERS PRESENT: Dick Beardmore Wayne Sundberg Susan McMillen MEMBERS ABSENT: Ron Carsten Janet Zemeckis Laurie Zitowitz STAFF PRESENT: John Dewhurst Jim Reidhead appearing for owner, Mr. Wykstra, presented a color scheme for painting 229-235 Jefferson formerly known as Haxton's Garage. These are two buildings that have always been treated as one. The colors con- sisted of tones of maroon, pink, lavender, black -blue and white. The commission discussed various aspects of the petition. It was the gener- al consensus of the commission that they did not approve of the pastel lavender and pink. MOTION MADE by Wayne Sundberg was to approve the color scheme with the exception that the pastels be used sparingly. SECONDED by Susan McMillan. MOTION CARRIED UNANIMOUSLY. Minutes of the last meeting were read and changes in the minutes were noted. Commission discussed re-election of officers and appointing two alter- nate members.
