Agenda Item 1 — Meeting Call to Order

Agenda Item 3 - Public Comment
Eric Sutherland addressed the EAC regarding Renewable Energy Certificates. Eric
discussed the ill effects of REC's including perpetuating the misperception that
greenhouse gas emissions are actually dealt with by REC's. Eric said improved
• transparency would help improve the situation and allow Fort Collins to make a
difference in this national issue. Eric also stated that Alabama Light and Power has plans
to provide smart meters to every home in Alabama by the end of 2011.

After each meeting presentation, one member of the EAC will fill out the form below to
be submitted for overall edits and approvals the following scheduled meeting. These
documents will try and represent the diverse views of the commission if necessary.
