Citizen Review Board Meeting
CIC Room, City Hall
October 10, 2007
Present: Dennis Baker, Anne Berry, Harry Edwards, Dave Evans, Jim Dubler, Chris
Kahler, Glenn Strunk
Excused Absences: None
Staff: Lt. Jim Broderick, Sgt. Russ Reed, Assistant City Attorney Greg Tempel, and
Angelina Sanchez -Sprague, Recorder.
The meeting was called to order at 6:01 by Chair Harry Edwards.
Minutes:
Dennis Baker made a motion to approve the August 15, 2007 CRB minutes. Anne
Berry seconded the motion. There was no discussion and the motion passed 7:0.
Glenn Strunk made a motion to approve the September 12, 2007 CRB minutes.
Dennis Baker seconded the motion. There was no discussion and the motion
passed 7:0.
Glenn Strunk made a motion to approve Case 2007-05 (aka IC 2007-01)
Subcommittee minutes as corrected. Jim Dubler seconded the motion. There
was no discussion and the motion passed 3:0 with Chair Dennis Baker, and
subcommittee members Glenn Strunk and Jim Dubler voting.
Voice Mail Reports:
• CRB Voice Mail Message Report. No report.
• Bias Policing Voice Mail Report. As of 4 p.m. on October 1if there were no
messages. A message, previously reported to the Board, complimenting Officer
Langley was forwarded to his supervisor.
Public Input: None.
New Business:
Staff conflict with November 14'" Regular Meeting Date. Both Lt. Jim Broderick and Sgt.
Russ Reed will be at a conference the week of November 12'" and unable to attend the
regularly scheduled November 14"' CRB meeting. Dennis Baker suggested an
alternate regular meeting be held prior to the annual November 7"' Board & Commission
Appreciation event at the Lincoln Center. The board agreed that date and time could
work.
Dennis Baker made a motion to move the November meeting from November 14t'
to November 7"' at 5 p.m., Lincoln Center 2"d floor Conference Room. Anne Berry
seconded the motion. There was no discussion and the motion passed 7:0.
Pending Cases:
Case L112007-005 will be heard by subcommittee tonight.
Glenn Strunk is the Chair and subcommittee members are Dave Evans, Anne Berry, and
alternate Dennis Baker.
Case 1-112007-006. The subcommittee for Case LV112007-006 was selected as follows:

Adjournment: Glenn Strunk moved to adjourn the meeting. Dave Evans
seconded the motion. The meeting adjourned at 6:32 p.m.
