Citizen Review Board Meeting
Lincoln Center 2nd Floor Meeting Area
November 7, 2007
Present: Dennis Baker, Anne Berry, Harry Edwards, Dave Evans, Jim Dubler, Glenn
Strunk
Excused Absence: Chris Kahler notified Harry Edwards via email that he would be out
of town.
Staff: Sgt. Russell Reed, Assistant City Attorney Greg Tempel, and Angelina Sanchez -
Sprague, Recorder.
The meeting was called to order at 5:00 by Chair Harry Edwards.
Minutes:
Dave Evans made a motion to approve the October 10d' minutes. Glenn Strunk
seconded the motion. There was no discussion and the motion passed 6:0.
Dave Evans made a motion to approve Case 1-II-2007-005 Subcommittee minutes.
Anne Berry seconded the motion. There was no discussion and the motion
passed 3:0 (with Chair Glenn Strunk and subcommittee members Anne Berry and
Dave Evans voting.)
Voice Mail Reports:
• CRB Voice Mail Message Report. Harry reported there were no messages as of
November 7, 2007, 2:30 p.m.
• Bias Policing Voice Mail Report. Russ Reed reported there were no messages
as of November 7, 2007, 1:30 p.m.
Public Input: Laura Poff, Harry Edwards' daughter, was present
New Business:
CRB 2008 Work Plan. Glenn Strunk asked if the 2008 Work Plan was identical to the
2007 Work Plan. Chair Edwards said, while similar, it was not identical.
Harry Edwards asked what the Board's training plan might be for 2008. Sgt. Reed said
he was not sure but he'd refer the question to Lt. Broderick.
Jim Dubler made a motion to approve the CRB 2008 Work Plan. Anne Berry
seconded the motion. There was no discussion and the motion passed 6:0.
