HomeMy WebLinkAboutRetirement Committee - Minutes - 07/21/197177 U July 21, 1971 MINUTES OF THE EMPLOYEE RETIREMENT COMMITTEE HELD ON JULY 21, 1971. Present: Mayor Karl E. Carson, Alvin Kruchten, Basil Sakas, Warren Dalke and Charlie D. Cain. Absent: None. Motion was made by Mr. Kruchten, seconded by Mr. Dalke nominating Mayor Carson as Chairman of the Retirement Committee. Motion was carried by four Aye votes, Mr. Sakas abstaining. A report made by Mr. Sakas stated he had received a letter from Boettcher and Company suggesting that his serving on the Committee might be considered as a conflict of interest and they would need to investigate this possibility further. A cash flow report was presented. Requests for retirement were presented for the following employees: Bruce Bunzel James IV. Howerton Conrad J. Kissler William Spight Motion was made by Mr. Dalke, seconded by Mr. Kruchten that these requests be approved. Motion was carried by four Aye votes, Mr. Sakas abstaining. Mr. Dalke was instructed to discuss with the employee group a payroll bond purchase arrangement and ascertain if there was any interest at this time.
