Worksession Meeting Minutes
June 23, 1992

SUMMARY OF MEETING: The Commission discussed the Draft
Historic Resources Preservation Program with the consultant,
Allyn Feinberg, of Community Services Collaborative.
CALL TO ORDER AND ROLL CALL:
Commission Chair Rheba Massey called the meeting to order at 5:40
p.m., 281 North College Avenue. Kirk Jensen, Rheba Massey, James
Tanner, and Ruth Weatherford were present. Brian Janonis and
Jennifer Carpenter were absent. Bud Frick arrived about 5:50.
Carol Tunner and Joe Frank represented staff.
New member, Kirk Jensen, was introduced to the LPC. He discussed
some of his background and interest in historic preservation.
DISCUSSION:
The Commission decided to review the Draft HRPP page by page.
Ms. Feinberg explained that since there isn't a Table of Contents,
the order is essentially setting the stage, the issues of Fort
Collins, and the action steps identified in outline form.
Ms. Feinberg took direction from the Commission on several changes
to the document.
After the general discussion, it was decided to use the July 1st
regular LPC meeting to continue the discussion with identifying the
priorities of preservation and the method of citizen participation
that will be pursued.
ADJOURN:
Ms. Massey adjourned the meeting at 10:25 p.m.
