Regular Meeting - January 28, 2008

A regular meeting of the Liquor Licensing Authority was held on January 28, 2008 in Municipal
Court, Justice Center, 201 LaPorte. Judge Kathleen M. Lane presiding.
Staff in attendance: Teresa Ablao, Assistant City Attorney
Aimee Jensen, Deputy City Clerk
Agenda Review
Deputy City Clerk Jensen stated there were no changes to the Agenda.
Approval of Minutes
Judge Lane approved the minutes from January 7, 2008.
Transfer of Ownership of Panino's,
313 West Drake Road, from Chatonga, Inc., to
MFJB. Inc.. Approved
John Beck, representative for MFJB, Inc., briefly described his background. He stated he and his
wife have been raised in the restaurant business. Mr. Beck stated he is on premise most of the time.
He stated they have long-term employees that will remain under their ownership. Mr. Beck stated
they have passed all compliance checks done by the Fort Collins Police Department. He stated they
are not making any physical changes to the premise. Mr. Beck stated hours of operation will remain
the same. He stated they card every patron ordering an alcoholic beverage. Mr. Beck stated alcohol
sales are low. He stated that any employee found in violation of the liquor code will be immediately
terminated. Mr. Beck stated he does not have a current copy of the liquor code on premise.
Judge Lane approved the transfer ofownership ofPanino's, 310 West Prospect, from Chatonga, Inc.,
to MFJB, Inc.
